Monday's Weather

Despite the snow on the ground here in Stockholm – spring has officially arrived – at least for half of the country. According to Sweden’s meteorological institute, temperatures between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius have been measured for more than 7 days in a row in many places – the official sign that spring has indeed arrived.

Today’s forecast promises snow for the north of Sweden while more southern parts may enjoy some sunshine.  Best chances of a break in cloud coverage will be found in the middle part of Sweden.

Noontime temperatures across the country:

Stockholm: 1 degree Celsius

Gothenburg: 5

Malmö: 4

Kiruna: -6

Sunrise in Stockholm today was at 6.24 AM and sunset 5.37 PM.
