Political Violence Changes in Sweden

Neo Nazis demonstrating outside of Stockholm

Swedish security police have issued a report saying that political violence has decreased in this Nordic nation - but has spread to new arenas far away from the eyes of the police.

This comes after a peace activist known for criticizing extremist groups was attacked at a peace rally outside of Stockholm and then cut by masked men wielding knives the next day near his home.

Earlier confrontations between neo Nazis and other right-wing hooligans have occurred in large-scale clashes with political opponents as police try to keep both groups separated.
