Arlanda airport

Norwegians and Germans are the number one foreign visitors to Sweden, at least among those who fly via Stockholm’s Arlanda International Airport. According to the 2008 survey of Arlanda travellers from LFV, which runs Sweden’s airports, Germans are also the group that has increased most.

Americans and Canadians head the list of non-European air travellers to this country. The improving economies of China and India are reflected in their moving up to the top five.

The study of 100,000 travellers indicates that the favorite destinations for Swedes are Thailand and New York.
