Four Protestors Arrested
Four peace activists broke into a military base on Wednesday - their aim was to disrupt NATO operations.
The far North of Sweden is currently the scene for the NATO 'loyal Arrow' exercise involving twelve countries. Activists from peace, green and left movements have condemned this as a breach of Swedish neutrality.
At 03:00 am on Wednesday four activists from anti-war network Ofog made their way into the military base at Vidsel in Swedish Lapland. They were apprehended by base security after reaching the live-fire bombing range. Ofog says they they plan to send more teams to make further protests.
