Finger Prints for Gothia Cup Players
Swedish migration authorities are tightening restrictions on young soccer football players coming to this Scandinavian country for the giant international Gothia Cup games in the west coast city of Gothenburg.
Starting in 2011, non-European competitors will have to be fingerprinted before they get entry visas.
This comes after five youngsters from Tanzania disappeared from this year's event. So far they have not asked for asylum, but it usually takes some time after defecting youngsters make an application.
