Ministers Present Environment Agenda
As president of the EU, Sweden has outlined an ambitious plan to combat climate change and increase economic competitiveness at the same time.
Part of this strategy is a handful of informal ministerial meetings held throughout Sweden. Later this week, another will take place as EU environment and energy ministers gather in the Swedish mountain city of Åre.
Minister for the Environment, Andreas Carlgren, and Minister for Enterprise and Energy Maud Olofsson appeared together at a press conference on Tuesday to present the key issues on the agenda.
