Rescuing Endangered Waters
The countries bordering the Baltic Sea are not doing enough to protect the sensitive sea. That is the gist of the message of the annual scorecard on the state of the Sea presented by the global environmental movement, the World Wide Fund for Nature.
The Baltic Sea is said to have one of the most sensitive marine ecosystems in the world and the scorecard assesses how the nine nations bordering the Sea are managing in protecting the Sea. Only one country, Germany was singled out as worthy of emulation. So how does this year's scorecard look like?
