Opinion Poll

Reinfeldt vs Sahlin

Published fredag 4 september 2009 kl 11.19
Fredrik Reinfeldt, Mona Sahlin

Swedes would rather have Fredrik Reinfeldt as Prime Minister, than opposition leader Mona Sahlin, at least if you believe the results of a new opinion poll.

Asked who they had most confidence in as Prime Minister, 60% answered current PM and conservative Moderate party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt, just 20 percent chose Social Democrat Mona Sahlin, 19% couldn't decide.

The poll comes at the same time as the opposition are pulling ahead of the governing 4 party centre-right coalition in the polls. The next General Election in Sweden is in a year's time.
