Swedish Astronaut in Live Interviews

Published måndag 7 september 2009 kl 13.02
Christer Fuglesang on STS-128

Still in space, Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang has been the target of a number of live interviews from home by journalists, celebrities and school children - although NASA was quick to side-step a youngster's question about naked astronauts.

The phrasing of "naked" was quickly translated into "without a space suit" in a question from a 14-year-old wondering if one could survive in space without any clothes at all.

The Swedish astronaut has successfully completed his second space walk in this his second and final mission and is scheduled to return to the Earth on Thursday.
