Swedish Wind Power Hopes Unrealistic?
The Swedish center-right government's plan to expand wind-power energy is unrealistic - according to 13 professors and experts of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science's energy committee.
The experts claim that only a third of the government's hope to produce 30 terrawatt hours of energy by the year 2020 will be a reality.
The professors maintain that the biggest limitation is the size of the electric power network.
Meanwhile, a 3-day European conference on building offshore wind power stations has started here in Stockholm.
