Reinfeldt:'No Deal with SD'
Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt says he would rather resign than lead a government dependent on being supported by the right-wing Sweden Democrats. Reinfeldt clarified his position after Green Party leader Maria Wetterstrand had accused him of hemhawing.
Before, the leaders of the four center-right coalition parties had unanimously stressed that they would not cooperate with the Sweden Democrats if they should gain access to parliament in next year's election. Instead, the Alliance would prefer to work together with the Green Party who in turn is hoping to form a coalition government with the Social Democrats and the Left Party.
