"Porn Police" Investigation Called Off

Published måndag 18 januari 2010 kl 18.04

Swedish police have called off their hunt for a policeman selling his body on the internet, with photos showing him in a police uniform.

In a story which has featured in Monday's tabloids, the photos on a "escort" site broke all police conduct rules, and officers were trying to track down the policeman involved, when the man in the photos called up, telling investigators he was neither a policeman, nor an escort.

Instead he claimed the photos of him in a uniform were taken from a film shooting. Police are now investigating whether he himself put the pictures on the site, or whether they were stolen and put online by someone else.
