Too High Grades Given to Students

Published onsdag 20 januari 2010 kl 08.45

A review of the results of the annual tests given each year to all of the secondary school students in Sweden shows that half of them are incorrect - and are often marked too high.

The is the result of a second review made by other teachers grading the tests.

Here in Sweden it is customary for the students' own teachers to mark their papers, rather than being sent to an external examiner.
