Three Arrested for Firebombs
The police in northern Sweden have arrested three men suspected of having thrown several firebombs at the house of a police officer in Arvidsjaur. The three men aged 19, 23 and 30 were arrested for attempted arson.
It was early on Sunday morning when the firebombs where thrown at the officer’s home. Both the house and a car caught fire, but they could be put out immediately. The motive of the crime is unknown, but the National Police Authority calls the incident an attack not only directed at a single officer but at the entire judicial system.
