Toyota Recalls Thousands of Cars in Sweden
Japanese carmaker Toyota recalled 52,500 of its cars in Sweden on Friday due to a problem with the accelerator pedal which in extreme cases can become stuck.
The problem with the pedal has forced Toyota to recall eight million cars in the United States, Europe and China.
The models affected are Auris, Avensis, Aygo, Corolla, IQ Yaris, Verso and Rav 4.
Owners of those cars are being urged to go into their nearest dealer to have the pedal replaced.
