Peugeot Recalls Cars in Sweden As Well
French company Peugeot has decided to recall more than 5,000 cars in Sweden, news bureau TT reports. According a press release, the model 107 cars were built in a Czech factory that Peugeot shares with Toyota.
The troubled Japanese company has recently announced a recall of over eight million cars around the world because of a faulty gas pedal. The problem—which can cause the car’s accelerator to get stuck—has caused a growing number of fatalities.
In Sweden, 52,500 Toyotas are set to be recalled.
