Heat Making Swedish Moose Smaller?

Published tisdag 16 mars 2010 kl 19.19

Swedish wildlife biologists are studying 30 moose or European elk equipped with gps and mobile phone collars – to see how they are reacting to climate change.

Predictions are that the moose will get much smaller as the weather gets warmer – since the average moose in southern Sweden is only half the size of his big brother in the frozen north.

Also, that more moose will move north to avoid the heat.
