Volvo US Car Sales Rebound Slightly
Volvo car sales fell in the United States during May by 16.5 percent, compared to the year before.
So far this year, the company says on its North American webite, sales have risen slightly, by 2.2 percent.
Sales in Canada fell by about the same margin last year, but so far this year’s improvement has been better north of border, by a 6.3 percent increase during the first five months of the year.
While Volvo production is still based in Sweden, Ford has spun off ownership of Volvo Cars to the Chinese car-maker Geely.
