New Structure for Nation's Security Service
The Swedish Security Service has announced a reorganizion which will result in more concerted efforts to obtain, process and analyze information.
Counterterrorism and counterespionage units, on the other hand, will decrease.
With these changes, the thousand-strong security service will slot into a new hierarchical structure where employees will work in a more flexible and effective way, according to the newspaper Sydsvenskan.
The service's budget for this year is over $120 million.
