Veggies Conceal Cocaine Shipment
Two harbor workers in the picturesque town of Helsingborg have been sentenced to ten years in prison for attempting to smuggle over 100 kilograms of cocaine into Sweden, according to news agency TT.
The cocaine was discovered hidden amongst frozen broccoli in a container from South America.
When German customs officials found the cocaine, they substituted it with powdered sugar, and the two men in Sweden were later arrested.
According to the German customs, the cocaine would have been worth almost one million dollars, if it had been sold on the street.
