Consulting firm KPMG reports that Sweden has a relatively high rate of tax on businesses - although still less than in France, Germany or the UK.

In an effort to attract foreign investment countries all over the world are lowering the rate of corporate tax.

This means that even though the Swedish government has severely cut the Swedish rate to 26.3 per cent, this is still higher than the world average of 23.45 per cent.
