First snow causes problems in south
The first snow of the season in southern Sweden has led to a number of traffic accidents and other problems.
Around 3000 homes around Gothenburg were without electricity when the storm reached the west coast. Some buildings were damaged and one flight landing at Gothenburg’s Landvetter airport was diverted to Jönköping.
The authorities issued a recommendation that vehicles affected by wind avoid driving over the Öresund bridge between Malmö and the Danish capital Copenhagen.
