Swedish ABB temporarily closes Egypt factory
Swedish engineering company ABB temporarily closes their factories in Egypt because of the uprising in political instability. The company has an estimated 600 employees in Egypt, according to Swedish Radio News, but no Swedish employees are currently in Egypt.
No employees have been injured and there has not been any damage to ABB’s properties in Egypt, according to the company’s Swedish press secretary Christine Gunnarson. But the company has decided to temporarily close the factory as a precaution.
