Manga porn case appealed to Supreme Court
A Swedish cartoonist has appealed his conviction for child pornography to the Supreme Court.
In January, an appeals court upheld his conviction for possession of Japanese manga with drawings under-age sex on his computer. The man, who works as a comics translator, says the images were necessary for his work, and his lawyer argued that the images were imaginary and not pictures of real children.
It's uncertain if the Supreme Court will agree to hear the appeal.
