Building giant flexes muscles
The Swedish building trade is seeing good times again, boosted by the country's fast economic recovery.
Earlier in the week construction company NCC reported strong profits, and now Skanska shows that it is still a very profitable firm.
Before tax, it made a profit of over 193 million $US. The company's CEO says that the situation in Finland, Sweden and Norway is helping.
But the company's share price actually fell, and Jonas Andersson, at Nordea bank, says that this is because Skanska is a very international company, and investors are worried that other parts of Skanska's business are not doing so well.
