An unidentified computer was found connected to the intranet at Jönköping local airport a few weeks ago. It was hidden under a desk and the airport management as well as police suspected industrial espionage, the news agency TT reports. An investigation was initiated, but on Wednesday the truth was found to be much more mundane.

The "spy computer" was a fully legitimate co-operation between the IT-department of the airport, and the local airline Flyglinjen. The computer managed the monitors above the airline's check-in desk, Swedish Television Jönköping reports.
