Sweden wins skiing bronze
Sweden won a team bronze in the Alpine skiing championships in Garmisch Partenkirchen Wednesday.
They beat Italy 4 - 0 in the third place play off where two men and two women from each country had to battle it out head to head down the giant slalom course.
Sweden, led by Anja Pärson, were beaten in the Semi-finals by the French team, and it was the French that eventually won gold, with Austria taking the silver. The team event made its debut in the 2005 World Champs, but isn't an Olympic event.
Pärson's medal is now her 13th in the Worlds, breaking the previous record held by Norwegian Kjetil Andree Aamodt.
