Terror suspects to remain in Danish custody
Two of the three men being held in Denmark on suspicion of terrorist conspiracy have voluntarily agreed to remain in custody for four more weeks. The third man is contesting his incarceration.
All three are citizens or residents of Sweden who were born in the Middle East. They were arrested in Copenhagen last December charged by Danish security police with weapons possession and intent to murder employees of the newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which had published cartoon images of the Islamic prophet Mohammed deemed offensive to Muslims.
