No UN sanctions for Malmö mosque?

While Swedish news media is devoting much attention to the continuing violence and bloodshed in Libya, a financially-troubled Mosque in the southern Swedish city of Malmö established with the help of Col. Gaddafi has also captured some media attention.

Swedish experts maintain that this institution will not be affected by the new UN sanctions against the Gaddafi regime - even though the mosque is financed by an organization founded by the Libyan leader trying to gain good will in the Moslem world.

Experts here say only individuals and not institutions are to be hit by the sanctions.

The foundation website supporting the Swedish mosque is filled with Gadaffi's photos.
