Olof Palme

Flowers for death anniversary

Published måndag 28 februari 2011 kl 15.23

In this 25th anniversary day of the murder of the late Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, top level politicians and average citizens have been placing flowers on the grave at a downtown Stockholm church yard.

The mass media is filled with documentary pictures and comments on the legacy of the controversial prime minister who helped give little Sweden a strong voice in international politics for his denouncing super power aggression against small nations and the violation of human rights from Vietnam to Czechoslovakia to South Africa.
