Published tisdag 1 mars 2011 kl 13.42

Popular file sharing website Swebits has been closed down and police have arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly uploading thousands of movies on the site.

Swebits has an estimated 35 000 members, and the man that has now been arrested is believed to be one of the people behind the website. The man has also been active in a group known as “Scenen,” that uploads movies long before they have been officially released.

According to police the man has admitted to some of the allegations.
