Royal court asks government for more money

Published onsdag 2 mars 2011 kl 10.16
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.

The royal court has asked for more money this year citing the royal wedding in June 2010 and Prince Daniel’s training as two of the reasons.

The extra money will also go to fund Victoria and Daniel’s representation and the running charge of Haga castle where the two of them live.

They have asked for an additional 5.5 million Swedish kronor, about $1 million. If they are granted the extra money this  year’s royal budget will be about $20 million, according to tabloid Expressen.
