The positive financial development in Sweden could benefit neighbouring countries as well. In Denmark experts hope that the export to Sweden will increase as a result of the strong Swedish krona, Swedish Radio News reports.

One company that could benefit from the economic growth in Sweden is Danish Rota, which manufactures engine components. CEO Lars Valentin says that about 30 percent of what is produced is exported to Sweden. Food processing and packaging company Tetra Pak  is their biggest costumer.

During the financial crisis Rota was forced to lay off 26 employees but Valentin says the company is already noticing an improvement.

A report from the Danish foreign ministry predicted that export to Sweden will grow by at least 7 percent in 2011.
