Swedish Industry Minister Maud Olofsson wants to cut taxes for electricity consumers, and hike them for the generators.

Swedish Radio News reports that the minister thinks that the winter's high electricity prices have been too high, and that consumers are being forced to pay hefty bills, while the companies make large profits.

However, the minister has not said how much she wants to cut the taxes by, nor discussed it with her colleagues in the coalition government.
