Record gas prices hit Sweden
Gas prices have now reached record levels in Sweden. Leading gasoline companies are raising the price for a liter of 95-octane by about US$ 0.03 up to US$ 2.24 per liter. This beats prices during the summer of 2008, which had been the highest yet, by about US$ 0.03 per liter.
Instability in North Africa and the Middle East have caused oil prices in the world market to rise, hence the price hike in Sweden.
