Published söndag 13 mars 2011 kl 12.52

The support for the Social Democrats is up 4,8 percentage points compared to December/January, according to new opinion poll, the news agency TT reports. The poll took place before the nomination committee named Håkan Juholt as their candidate to become a new party leader.

In this poll 29,2 percent say they like the Social Democrats better than any other party. That makes the party the second most favoured in Swedish politics. The conservative Moderate party received 35,4 percent in this poll.

The poll was carried out by the polling company Skop. 1100 people were asked "Which political party in the Swedish parliament do you like best?"
