Spring budget

Government announces further tax cuts

Published tisdag 12 april 2011 kl 11.01

The Government has announced there will be another income tax rebate next year. Ahead of Wednesday's spring budget, the centre-right alliance has chosen to highlight its plans in an opinion piece in the daily Dagens Nyheter.

The four Government parties also want to raise the level for when one starts paying state income tax, they want to lower the tax on pensions and a lower sales tax in restaurants. All these tax cuts are possible, they say, because the economy is growing, the public finances are strong and unemployment is going down.
