On the last day in court for the 24-year-old suspected serial rapist in Örebro, the prosecutor demanded he is jailed for 14 years. The man is accused of raping, sexually assaulting and also battery 15 women in Örebro over a period of five years between 2005 and 2010.

14 years is the maximum sentence for this type of crimes, when all of them are weighed in.

The 24-year-old has admitted to most of what he is accused of, but has had difficulties in explaining why he did it. The 15 women are claiming a total of 190,000 US dollars in damages from the defendant.

A verdict is expected in a week's time.
