Film star Annalisa Ericson passes away
One of Sweden's most popular actresses during the thirties, forties and fifties, Annalisa Ericson, has died at the age of 97.
Ericson started her career as a child star and went on to work with luminaries such as Ingemar Bergman, Ernst Rolf and Nils Poppe. Most known as a musical star, she also made her mark in the worlds of film, dance and music.
In 2001 she was to present an honorary award at the Swedish Film Awards, only to discover that the prize was for herself.
