No signs of parasite in tests
Tests carried out on drinking water on Easter Saturday report no signs of the parasite Cryptosporidium, according to Skellefteå's local council authority.
However, residents in the northern town are still recommended to boil their water.
The tests were carried out on water under the care of the Abborren water company, and more will be carried out tomorrow, and during the rest of the week.
4,000 out of 8,100 people who have filled in a council questionaire said that they have had a stomach upset since the first of April.
