Traces of tissue from a 70 million years old great saurian has been found in a fossil, by scientists in Lund in southern Sweden. With the help of modern technology the three scientists have found scraps of biological material in a mosasaurus-fossil.

The mosasaurus lived in the sea some 65 to 100 million years ago. They looked a bit like a crocodile with flippers, and are related to the present day monitor lizards.
