Swedish demonstrator arrested on West Bank
The International Solidarity Movement says that a Swede and two British women have been arrested by the Israeli military on the occupied West Bank.
According to the peace activist network, the women were taken into custody when demonstrators tried to put up a tent in a village Israel was planning to build a wall around. They have reportedly been taken to a police station in an Israeli settlement.
According to the ISM, a 60 year-old American woman suffered a serious head injury when Israeli soldiers demolished the protest tent.
The Swedish Foreign Ministry says it has not been informed about the arrest of a Swede abroad.
