Sweden ranked as best country for children
Sweden is the best country for children to grow up in, according to a new report by the nonprofit group, Save the Children. It's also the fourth best country for mothers.
The group looked at 164 countries to rate the conditions for mothers and children. Factors included basics like access to clean water and good nutrition, as well as mortality rates, contraception methods, care during pregnancy and birth. Economic and political status were also included in the ranking.
Regarding the best place for motherhood, Nordic countries took four of the top seven slots with Norway coming in first. Afghanistan came in last place.
