Sparks protests

Facebook bans kissing Greek girls

From the Greek film ""Attenberg."

Swedish representatives of the social network Facebook have sparked a storm of protest with the second stoppage within a month of a photo of two persons of the same sex kissing.

Facebook Swedes insist that they are not against such kisses but are against sexual messages - and that the photo could have been incorrectly placed.

This time the photo was from a popular, commercial Greek film showing two young girls training their kissing techniques - a censorship displeasing the film's Swedish distributors.

Earlier Facebook stopped a photo of two men kissing, art work of a famous turn-of-the-century Swedish artist Anders Zorn famous for his bathing women, gay American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe and breast-feeding mothers.
