Police are still on the hunt for the killer of a 4-year-old boy whose lifeless body was discovered in a wooded area by two youth Sunday evening in Ljungby, reports Sweden’s TT news agency.

Robert Loeffel, head of information with the Kronoberg Police in southern Sweden at the Kronobergspolisen, told TT that a lot of investigative work remains.

The forensic department in Lund gave police a preliminary cause of death, but Loeffel would not comment further. “The preliminary information is that the cause of death is enough for us to continue working,” he told TT.

No suspects have been identified in the murder of the 4-year-old yet. So far police have questioned 50 people and followed up on about 20 tips.
