Police suspect Ljungby killer is a child
Several Swedish media, including news agency TT, report that the main police theory in the death of a four-year-old boy in Ljungby is that the killer is another child.
At a press conference on Wednesday afternoon the police, and prosecutor Yvonne Rudingsson, said that they were not releasing much information to the press, in order to protect their investigation, but that they can say that forensic medical evidence is very important right now.
They also say that they have called in the national criminal investigation police, including a unit that builds up profiles of perpetrators.
So far the police have received about 30 calls from the public, and they say they are working at top speed to interview large numbers of adults and also children.
