Farmers strike blow for smaller dairy
A group of Swedish farmers are so upset with the upcoming merger of two dairy giants that they're planning to set up their own business.
The eight farmers, in Dalarna and Västmanland, say that they plan to buy up the dairy in Grådö, which is to be shut down as part of the merger.
Farmer Torsten Gustafsson says to Swedish Radio News that his group are "not so impressed" with the big company, Arla, that's taking over its former rival Milko. "We want to do something smaller, and we think we live in an area where this can happen."
