Former Swedish prime minister Göran Persson is being sued for not paying bills worth over US$ 70,000.

Building firm Erik Sjögren Byggnads says that Persson has not paid them for work done on his two-million-dollar property by lake Båven in Flen.

The former Social Democrat politician has now been ordered by Nyköping court to reply within 14 days.
