Copenhagen is hosting the annual Nordic Council this week. The Council first met in 1952 to boost cooperation among Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Later Finland, the Faroe Islands, Åland, and Greenland began to participate. A lot has changed since then. This week, Nordic parliamentarians, who represent around 25 million citizens, are spending three days discussing big issues and small. Swedish Radio's Nordic Correspondent Jenny Sanner Roosqvist is there. Radio Sweden spoke to her.
