Vacuum fire costly for Ringhals
A short-circuit in a vacuum cleaner was to blame for a fire that closed down nuclear reactor 2 at Ringhals nuclear facility in May, reports Swedish Television.
The vacuum cleaner short-circuited and lit on fire when workers were testing the reactors' containment building.
The cleanup is expected to be finished in December. The stoppage is calculated to total an income loss of 1.8 billion Swedish kronor or nearly US$ 270 million.
